A guide to design, specification, and installation

HILTI ANCHOR CHANNEL (HAC)

Anchor channel systems are a cost-effective cast-in anchoring to concrete technology. This technology provides a solution for job site tolerances and on-site adjustability when connecting structural and non-structural elements. Compared to traditional cast-in technologies, anchor channel systems provide added savings by not requiring skilled labor to connect the fixture since welding is not required. Moreover, anchor channels reduce the installation time per connection, improve the productivity of the installer, increase the structural reliability of the connection, and may improve the safety of the installer.

HILTI CAST-IN ANCHOR CHANNEL FASTENING TECHNICAL GUIDE

The HAC Fastening Design Guide provides comprehensive information regarding design, specifications, and installation of anchor channels, which will help you to successfully complete your project in time and within the budget. This document addresses a wide range of topics; from some of the simplest topics such as estimated lead times of different types of Hilti Anchor Channels to more complex topics such as acute corners, composite slabs, seismic, parallel channels, channel at top and bottom of slab, etc.
